NC State Travels to Miami: After having the past week off, NC State returns to ACC action as the Pack heads down to Miami for a Saturday afternoon contest. This is the first meeting between the teams this season, and last year each team won on its own home court. The Pack is coming off of a 68-54 upset of then-No. 23 Wake Forest last weekend, while Miami downed Virginia, 74-62, on Tuesday at home.

I think this will be a close game that Miami will pull out near the end. I just have no faith that we can sustain the effort/shooting that was shown during the WF game. Hopefully I am wrong and having a week off has us well rested and ready to play.

This is an interesting matchup.

Miami has come on strong lately. They are really young, really deep, really big up front, and really turnover prone.

Their homecourt advantage isn't strong so we don't have to worry about getting overwhelmed like we did at Maryland...

They shoot really well and are a dominant rebounding team due to their size. We struggle rebounding but we've done well lately against bigger teams like Wake and GT due to our hustle.

We're horrible at producing turnovers from our opponent, so that seems to be the key. If they don't turn the ball over we have no chance but if we can force them to commit their usual 20+ and we can get their bigs in some foul trouble like we did against Wake we have a chance to pull this one off.

his parents are staying at the same hotel as me and they struck up a conversation with me when they saw me in a State shirt. he's from Southern High in Durham. parents said he should be the Day 1 starter next year when Collins leaves
