I've already had a couple PM's and an email from a classified thread but the thread count still reads 0.

I think it's busted. Or they're telepathic. Either-or.

sometimes the views don't get updated until a post is made - it's not broken - it's worked that way forever - certain things aren't updated until a post or other event occurs

^interesting... we only keep cache files for a couple of minutes then regenerate them anyway.
