If Miami loses we are 11th, regardless of what State does v. BC.

If State wins and Miami loses, regardless of what UVA/UNC do, we are 11th.

If Miami wins, State wins, UNC wins, and UVA wins, we are 11th.

If Miami wins, State wins, UNC wins, and UVA loses, we are 11th. Miami is 0-2, State is 1-2, UNC is 3-0.

If Miami wins, State wins, UVA wins, and UNC loses, we are 11th. Miami is 1-2, State is 1-2, UVA is 3-1. UVA would get the 10, then the tiebreaker rules would revert back to the regular head to head tiebreaker, which we own over Miami.

If Miami wins, State wins, UVA loses, and UNC loses, we are 12th. UVA is 4-1, UNC is 3-1, Miami is 1-3, and NCSU is 1-4.

If State loses and Miami wins, we are 12th.

So basically, the easiest thing that can happen for us is for FSU to beat Miami. That happens, we are guaranteed 11th.

UVA would get 9th, not 10th. It would then be:

It completely relies on our guard play. We need Javi and Degand to each play well to be able to beat the top seeds and we need them to at least not suck ass to be able to beat the middle of the road teams. I hope we get matched up with UVA somehow.

If we get Wake in the 1st round we might move on, if we get Clemson then our season ends on Thursday.

Lowe's teams have never played well against Clemson, conversely we've played pretty well against Wake under Lowe...also Gaudio is a choke artist.

We were also down 17 at the half in that game, a valiant but ultimately unsuccessful comeback doesn't mean we played well. Sidney Lowe has never beaten Clemson, and he has beaten Wake 5 times. You can argue about it all you want but we obviously want to play Wake rather than Clemson.

Their style matches up very favorably against us because their strengths are our greatest weaknesses (pressure defense, rebounding, consistently good guard play).

I think we have to match their intensity like we did in the 2nd half back in January in order to have a chance, as well as somebody has to step up to take the pressure off of Smith.
