One of my classes is a 6 credit hour total class (4 for lecture, 2 for lab) and I NEED to drop it!! But when I went to do this on my pack portal, it said I wouldn't meet the "minimum credit hours required"
I realize to remain a full time student you have to take 12+ hours; I was taking 16, but in dropping this I would go down to 10.
But I do not live on campus, do not have financial aid/scholorship money, so nothing would be affected if I drop to part-time.
So who do I need to see about this, since I can't do it online? 3/7/2010 5:14:33 PM |

I've checked with parents on all of that, and they said no worries there.
Should I go to the registrars/cashiers office for this? It's just that tomorrow is the last day, so I have to figure this out asap!! 3/7/2010 5:20:18 PM |

you have to get your advisor to approve it and fill out a form. its dumb but you have to do it.
He's at page hall, email him or call him to make an apt.

Go see your advisor first thing in the morning. If you need to collect signatures, fill out paperwork, etc., you'll want more time. Your advisor can also discuss ramifications of dropping to below 12 hours. 3/8/2010 6:41:55 PM |
