I have this Duke basketball signed by Coach K and his entire staff from the '01 championship team. I tried selling it on Ebay, but no one bid on it. Anyone know where in the RDU area I can take this thing and sell it? 3/21/2010 11:25:10 PM |

what did you set the starting price at? did you include pictures? pretty hard to believe no one would bid on a signed jersey on ebay 3/22/2010 4:08:21 AM |

that's because it was basketball, not a jersey. 3/22/2010 8:20:04 AM |

that's because it was a bowl of grits, not a basketball 3/22/2010 8:22:39 AM |

Anyone want a ball autographed by the entire team 1993 championship team (tarholes under dean smith).
I turned down $1500 back in 2001. Anyone want to make an offer? 3/22/2010 8:45:59 AM |

I would almost take that - it was a bequeath to me back in 1993 before i knew better. Now it sits in a dark corner and my folks house 3/22/2010 12:56:41 PM |

Selling autographs on eBay is tough without a COA.
Shit, selling autographs ANYWHERE and expecting to get a decent amount for them is tough without a COA. 3/22/2010 3:26:33 PM |

Are you located in the triangle. If not, good luck, people are going to want to see it before buying.
You could try a card shop or some place that sells collectibles, but they will most likely low ball you.
Your best bet would probably be to find some Duke centered message boards; Rivals, Scout ?, etc; and see if you could find someone on there. Best of luck. 3/22/2010 9:10:55 PM |

I've been wondering this too.
I have a NC State hat autographed by David Thompson that I was thinking about selling. 3/22/2010 9:18:19 PM |

Yeah I live in the Triangle. I was hoping to take it to a place that could authenticate it and buy it. I got it from some Cub Scout popcorn thing like 9 years ago and never got around to try and sell it. I posted pics on Ebay, but I figured that anything w/o a certificate of authenticity would be tough. 3/22/2010 11:58:54 PM |

Not worth it to sell without certificate. Just throw into Mount Doom. 3/23/2010 12:31:49 AM |

Considering that a COA mean fuck all, just print up your own. 3/23/2010 1:08:17 AM |

I'll throw in an extra 5, but I want behind the scenes footage of said burning. Plus any dvd extras or commentary.3/23/2010 2:10:59 AM |

I too will throw in $5
you could turn it into a fund raiser like when they charge you $1 to hit the carolina blue colored car with a baseball bat. enough people chipping in could add up. 3/23/2010 3:07:55 AM |
