didn't this happen to every DeathStar? that's why they were aptly called such.

so i guess they didn't recover any data, huh. nothing like realigning magnetic dust particles to recover a drive.

one bonus is that you have to buy a set of torx drivers if you want to take one apart... the benefits keep growing

My dad had 2 of these drives. There was a class action suit over these a long time ago.
