It seems like the tide has started to turn (for a few years now...) in peoples' opinions of the gays.
So why is it this mississippi parents are fighting so hard to keep just one single openly gay student from going to prom? What do they hope to achieve?
What would be so hard about saying "okay, so bring your girlfriend?" 3/30/2010 11:04:26 PM |

Maybe they're trying to stay on the political radar. It seems like the tide has started to turn (for a few years now...) for social conservatives. Many social liberals are fleeing from the Republican Party, with good cause.
I mean, If these Mississippians aren't fighting against the homosexuals, or pushing for the bible in schools, or doing some other socially conservative crap (read: backwards and ignorant,) then what have they got? 3/31/2010 3:01:11 AM |
