I got no problems paying for good, custom stuff. Off the shelf uninspired stuff just doesn't warrant $39-100 for a simple replication

^Yes it does. I highly doubt you're willing to pay the 500-1200 bucks for "good, custom stuff" if you're bitching about $39.

Curiously, if you don't have Indesign what are you making these in? Word? Publisher?

If you're really hard up for good design on a budget hit stock.xchng and download some backgrounds to put your words and stuff on top of.

I got no probs dropping 500 for quality stuff that I can base a brand around. I DONT want to may 100 for stuff that anyone else could replicate and give me no recourse to protect my brand
