Backfired? I don't see any problem with the video... I think that it says something that he is willing to put pride out the window and hire Parcells when he hates the guy. It has worked out great for the Cowboys they are back to the top of the NFC East after a horrible 10-15 year span in the late 90s early 2000s.

As for Tebow, Jerry was just being honest.. Why would he draft Tebow when he wouldn't see the field, maybe not even make the team.... Where would he fit in the Dallas organization? Inspirational story teller?

aside from all of the profanity he didn't say anything out of line. Hell, what he said about Tebow is probably the exact sentiments of 3/4 of the owners in this league.
