anyone have experience with em? From what i can tell they are honda knock offs and the parts interchange. The 11 hp is on sale for 300 bucks at harbor freight, a comparable tecumseh is 400 or so at northern tool, and a briggs is 450 ish. This will be on a lawn tractor that sees use about twice a month.

That's a gamble I'd be interested in taking. They are Chinese.

^Dan! where ya been?

a comparable running tractor sells for 500+. This is an old steel frame unit that you could put a small 3 pt hitch on etc.

mow the woods behind my house (too small for a bush hog, too big to push mow) and its uneven and overgrown as hell. Also use it to pull stumps, some tilling, etc.
