That isn't my point, what I meant was why would they switch teachers with out even informing the people registered in the class and why the change took place.

I'll ignore your sarcasm...But both teachers are the same difficulty (Hard) if you look at their grade distributions, very few A's, many B's and lots C's D's and F's. It changed from Robert Moog to Amanda Edwards and I know nothing of Edwards but I have already read reviews on Moog and have seen his syllabus and I know what he is like so I would have preferred to take the course with him. Plus he has taught the course for many years.

If they were going to switch teachers, they should have listed the Instructor as "Staff". Some people only sign up for a course because a specific instructor teaches it, you know.

It isn't really that big of a deal, but I just have never seen them trick people like this and I have been at the school 2 years now.

Well, actually it might be a blessing in disguise because the new teacher taught that class last for the first time last semester and the grades were very good after seeing the grade distributions.

Still they should not trick people like that, if they may change teachers or are not sure then what needs to be listed is STAFF and that is all.

What the hell. They changed another one of my instructors, from a grad student to a professor who has poor ratings according to RMF. I am not going to put up with this another time so I am just going to drop the class all together and enroll in a different one even though it will be at a worse time. I have been here 2 years and they have not done this once before until now. If they can't figure out who is going to teach, it should say "Staff" and I would have never signed up for the course. I won't be surprised if a bunch of people drop after the first day because the teacher was not who it said it was. They don't even email you or anything to tell you it changed and expect you to not notice it. Rediculous
