Pacman refuses to take blood tests.

PACman has a fear of needles. Which if you've ever been to where he's from, you could understand.

Mayweather carries Mosley simply to "help a brotha out."

But mayweather could drop Mosley in 2 or 3 if he wanted.

But then hopefully we'll get to see pacman and mayweather. At which point I expect Mayweather to take out PACman, but it could be interesting.

Mayweather is the best fighter of this generation. He will destroy Pacquiao.

did mayweather do all the blood testing before this fight that he's demanding of pacman for their fight?

Pretty sure he did, and so did Mosley.

Mosley used PEDs before and willingly submitted himself to these tests. That's the biggest mark. If a dude who had more to lose than Pacquiao did it, and did it WILLINGLY after a previous history, then Manny has zero leg to stand on anymore. If he backs down because of blood testing at this point, he will be branded the biggest coward in the history of the sport.

meh - mayweather could have fought under the existing standards. maybe he knew of pac's fear of needles and used it against him. because I honestly don't think he is some altruistic person who wants to change the face of PED testing in sports. not exactly a non-cowardly thing to do himself if he knew of pac's objections before hand.

and you're right - i should have googled this one first...they did do the blood tests

Fear of needles is an absolute bullshit excuse.

Quote :
"Mosley was a substitute for Manny Pacquiao, who was all but signed to meet Mayweather until a dispute over drug testing derailed the megafight. Instead, Pacquiao beat Joshua Clottey on March 13 in Dallas and is campaigning for a seat in congress in his native Philippines.

"If Manny Pacquiao can take a blood and urine test then we have a fight," Mayweather said. "If not, no fight."

Pacquiao, who watched the fight in the Philippines, told Manilla radio station DZBB that he would agree to blood testing, but only if it is not taken within 24 days of the fight. That is basically the same stance that derailed the fight the first time around.

"For me, as long as the drug test is not done close to the match, I'll agree because if they'll get blood from me close to the match, it will be a disadvantage for me because I'm smaller and he's big," Pacquiao said.
"

sounds like a BS excuse, I dont know why 24 days would be the cutoff for giving blood. I could maaaybe see 7 days having a slight affect on your body (depending on how much blood is drawn) but even that is in question. Of course I'm not a boxer and dont know how things like this would affect me, but to the casual boxing fan this seems pretty weak

^I don't know how steroid tests work, but in the past when I have gone to the doctor to get a physical they often draw blood to check cholesterol. It's just a tiny vial. It doesn't take much for crime labs to be able to match blood types with people either. It's not like donating when you give a pint and then pass out sometimes.
