but this way we don't need concurrency controls on the uninstall process.

^ is also a legit question

And I'm betting there are a billion or two people out there who don't even know what you're doing right now. These are also the people who are suspect to go Apple and virus up the whole network because they don't think basic protection is necessary. "If I only sleep with asians I don't need a condom - they don't get viruses"

It's probably because you're upgrading to 2010 and want to do a clean install.

Enterprise 2010 requires a complete uninstall of 07 before it installs. LAME

I really don't like Windows 7...at all.

I know all of the ad campaigns say it was "my idea", but it actually is a very stupid idea.

I'be been happy with my Win 7. Most everything that pissed my off about Vista was fixed in 7, and it is much more user-friendly than XP imo. Best Windows so far (as it should be.. duh)
