^^That's the same reason I'm openly critical of pretty much all religion. The only ones I am not dismissive of are the ones that I know very little about. I assume they're all bullshit, but for all I know Shinto could have some really strong points in it's favor, and until I know more I'll keep my mouth shut.

I'm sure 300 years ago you could get killed for mocking Jesus too, but you could also own people.

This is the modern world, just because you have X religions belief doesn't mean people have to respect it.

Look at abortion, thats horribly offensive to a large group of people, and sometimes they get blown up. Do you think abortion clinic bombings are justified? Is it okay for me to track down people who get abortions and say im going to kill them, because they offended my religion?

Society and culture is changing, and so are the religions.

What is now radical Islam will eventually be killed off, because its incompatible with our modern world.

Islam will have to adapt like all religions.

Christianity has a great method for this in the scriptures " will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
