Can "Today's Events" on the front page please be cleaned. Right now theres an ad for Auora, which if I remember right was closed about 2 years ago. And theres plenty of other ads there that are out of date.

i'm surprised they don't have a filter on the query to limit it to events that are less than 6 months old or something...and it should only be "today's events" if it's actually today, otherwise it should be called "upcoming and recent events" or something

I have no idea whats relevant or not on the calendar.
I have asked several times in the past for users to point out things that no longer need to be listed.

Last time I free styled I removed things that shouldn't have and they had to be re-posted.

List what needs to be removed here and I will take care of it.

thanks for pointing this out. the out of date events shouldn't show up anymore

furthermore, i've removed the option to create weekly recurring events. if there's interest, i can re-add that ability in a more robust way later on. for now, i think creating events for a single date should be fine

Ya like quagmire said, 6 months or so would be good. Maybe 4 months. That way if they want it up, they have to do it every semester or so (which for some businesses around here is their turnover rate )
