This worked for me a couple of years ago but I can't seem to find who did the work. So......basically put, desktop is crashed. Virus pickup has infliltrated my domain dammit. Can't get online, can't pull up Powerpoint , Publisher, Sony Vegas is gone........anyway.....I need this basic shit for my work. I know a little bit but not enough to fix this.
Can one of you computer whizzes fix this prob for some cash on the side?
Cash is in my pocket and I need it done asap as I am now forced to check email and such from an old Dell laptop 800Mhz PII. (which is working amazingly well actually)

properties
taskbar
customize
change whatever you want (change signal & volume to always show)

anyone have expeirence working on Macs? A good friend of mine has a MacBook Pro she uses for design school. She said that it will normally work good for a little while, then something about the screen turns colors and the pixelation gets all crazy and then it wont do anything. Anyone have any idea whats going on and could fix it? I can get more details from her if anyone thinks they can help. She's in her last year and doesnt really want to have to buy another laptop. Gracias

Buy her a laptop cooler or a flat hard lap desk and tell her to keep her computer off the bed. It's probably overheating.

But then I know jack about macs. The description you gave seems symptomatic of overheating.
