This is the list of the following work I need completed on my 98 Civic:

-Rotors need replacing
-Need new hood release lever installed (http://www.amazon.com/1996-2000-Honda-Civic-Release-Handle/dp/B0036E6TNY)
-Drivers side power window spazs out when it reaches the top, won't close all the way
-Some belt is squeaking when the car warms up. Hopefully not the timing belt, but I don't know.

got a 2000 vw jetta 1.8t that is going into limp mode and i have no idea why.

The Jetta might be beyond my troubleshooting ability, as I don't have a good code reader. Is it registering any trouble codes at all?

Dude, not a problem to do any of those. The axle will be the hardest part because the knuckle will have to come apart and the CV shaft pulled to get to the seal.

AC belt, no problem at all. Transmission pan, again no problem at all. Let me know if you're interested.

Replacing a fuel pump is not a problem. PM to be sent.

As far as exhaust components go, I recommend taking it to either Henry's or Bob's. Exhaust is much better done by folks who do nothing else...cheaper too.

The crankshaft position sensor in my '95 Ford Explorer needs to be replaced. I've been putting it off for over a year now, would be nice if it stopped stalling and the check engine light went away. I have a book from Advance explaining how to replace it, but I can't make heads or tails out of the instructions.

I actually may have some work, depending--the A/C system in the Marauder has gone nuts and is blowing out of whatever damn vents it feels like. The usual cause is failed o-rings in the EATC module, which I'm going to attempt to fix myself, but if I have problems with it I may be giving you a call.

I ususally do my own work but with the limited time I have available lately, this might be handy to know.
What cars do you have experience on? How deep are you willing to go on a car?

For example, I have an E36.
I can see sometime needing something like a....
Heater Core
Window motor..
Wheel bearings..
etc...

Not looking to have anything done this week...just making a mental note for the the future.

Oh I know. Actually the motors are fine on my car right now. I know know this is something you will probably eventually have to deal with on an E36.

And like I said..it would be due to a time factor more than anything else. And frankly..I am fine working on most parts of the car...the window motors....not so much.

My car has been running really rough and I was told my NGR valve was stuck. Can you fix it? Also the guy at NAPA told me I needed to have the air in my tires changed. Could you do that at the same time? Car is a 88 Honda Civic hatch back. Oh and it has a manual transmission if that matters for the NGR valve. Also the tires are like 2 years old. Is it normal for the air to need changing every 2 years?

*when the AC is on, it makes a loud noise but it blows cold air..

check this out, one day I came home and the brake lights for my '94 nissan altima were stuck on. The only way I could turn them off would be to pull out the fuse. I did some research and found out that there is a button near the brake pedal that turns on/off the brake lights when a plastic piece on the brake pedal hits the button. I looked and the plastic piece was gone, so I replaced the piece and even manually pressed the button but the brake lights still ALWAYS stay on. I'm guessing its an electrical problem somewhere within the car.

I have other electrical problems with this car as well - when my headlights are on the lights behind my dash (speedometer, etc. area behind the steering wheel) do not turn on. So when I drive at night I cant see how fast I'm going. That was more of a nuisance than anything, so I didnt worry about it getting fixed, but now I cant get my car to pass inspection until I get the brake light issue fixed. Any ideas?

I am good with figuring out stuff on cars, but dont know the first thing about the electrical system. HELP! If I cant get this fixed I'm probably going to have to look into getting a new car (which is long overdo anyways) but I have all sorts of medical bills I'm paying for my daughter now, so I will have to wait until later this year or early next year before I can even start looking for a new car. I just need a bandaid to get me through until then.

Any help is appreciated, thanks man!
