I didn't see anything else on this so forgive me but it would seem the SIM cards Verizon are going to use for their 4G rollout are the same size as current SIM cards. Does that mean that you'll pretty much be able to use any phone on any network (except Sprint) in the near future? God, I hope so. (you can shave down regular sized SIMs to fit microSIM aka iPhone I think)

"It's still baking our noodles to think about a Verizon device using a SIM on American soil -- but sure enough, those cards allegedly set up in Big Red's systems are floating around in the wild. What you're looking at here is a SIM that will slot into Verizon's LTE-enabled 4G devices when they launch later this year (hence the big "4G" logo on there), and yes, they look just like the SIMs you've been using for the last two decades on carriers around the world. The more things change, the more they stay the same, it seems."

att doesn't have plans for 4G to start for about another year and really 2 years before anything significant so IDK about the any phone on any network.

it's not like the major american carriers have any incentive to make their exclusive handsets interoperate with other networks. capitalism at its finest.
