Looks like it could be cool, hope it doesn't have speed limits like the original. It was realistic, but tedious.

don't stand too close to cars during shootouts, unless you're ducking down behind one

Demo is pretty fun, though it is incredibly tough to avoid the cops in a slow car because they will hit you inside the car everytime...

When you watch a movie trailer do they show intricate plot details or just all the big gunfights and explosions?

The game also runs a hell of a lot better than GTAIV. When I was driving on the highway with Manhattan to the left, it was as smooth as could be, GTAIV occasionally stuttered on smaller scale areas.

i suppose storyline wasn't what i really wanted...but if there are other missions besides drive here and shoot this place up.

like perhaps a mission getting chased and shot at in the snowy woods that never gets resolved over the rest of the game

90% of missions is games like this are "drive from point A to point B and kill this motherfucker"

But I'm sure there's a few like you mentioned where you're stuck in a freezing van eating ketchup packets

TV ads got me interested. Tried the demo. Pretty, but very boring. Also awkward controls. Clearly meant to be a console game - had an arcade-ish feel to it.

beat the game decent, glad I didn't pay. There are a few things GTA could take from it, but not much. The PhysX was nice and the controls were no more awkward than GTA IV. You do realize the cars have two modes right? Arcade and Sim


BTW, ending is horrible.

The only real problem with the controls was the requirement to press a button to get out of cover instead of just letting you walk out of it. Don't know why they would make it that way.
