Unless something's happened recently, isn't TWC supposed to lose ESPN all together pretty soon? Or at least their contract is coming up...

Its highly unlikely TWC lets this happen. The company might suck, but their entire executive team isn't retarded...losing ESPN right at the start of football season would lose them a lot of money. ESPN/Disney knows this and is ass raping them for everything its worth

I cant even begin to imagine how many customers TWC would lose if they lost ABC/ESPN at the start of football season. I know for myself the only reason I still even have cable is mostly due to sports.

^Before I got married I laid down some ground rules in regards to our wedding. Absolutely no wedding during football season (including professional), college basketball season especially during March Madness. If you have a wedding during those times, you can't make it to the game that day and you are screwed if your anniversary falls on the day of a big game. Got married on May 15, unless I am forgetting something, nothing sports related should really mess that up.

I also had a conversation with a coworker when is the best time of the year to try to have kids. Due to birthdays and your wife being pregenant you may not be able to go to games. Case in point, my coworker kids have their 1st and 3rd birthdays on the days of the VT and BC games. He wanted to go to those games and now he can't.

As far as weddings are concerned, the wife & I waited to pick our wedding day till the ACC schedule came out (BYE week) since we wanted a fall wedding. Since she's as dedicated as I, an anniversary isn't going to cause us to miss a game.

I think our defense starts out with bugs still to work out. It's still hard to believe that we held South Carolina to 7 last year.

I just got married May 1st, so I lucked out. No missed games for me! Our church wouldn't let us get married before Easter anyways, so that took care of basketball season.
