I've tried to do some research for some promo codes or coupon codes, but I can't seem to find much. It'd be nice to save a ton of money for something silly already.
Any ideas? I've found a few corporate codes for enterprise, but it seems kind of sketchy. 8/29/2010 10:00:11 PM |

they'll check your license and add the surcharge at the counter. just take what you can get off of priceline. 8/29/2010 10:23:03 PM |

found a discount for enterprise that waives the fee and has a small discount. should save me 100 bucks! Hopefully I will not have to some how prove I am a UC Berkeley Alum. Not sure how I'd prove that anyway. 8/30/2010 12:17:10 AM |

enterprise doesn't have the surcharge in california and nevada.
[Edited on August 30, 2010 at 12:38 AM. Reason : Also find a small private company. They might not have one or could easily waive.] 8/30/2010 12:38:29 AM |

most large corporate codes waive the under 25 fee for herz - also hertz for the most part does not check for an ID badge 8/30/2010 9:08:02 AM |

^^ that's not true, there is a fee there, I've called ^ to bad for hertz their prices are so ridiculous anyway, it doesn't make a difference 8/30/2010 10:00:44 AM |

^^They never make me pay. Are you sure it was enterprise? Do you have your own insurance?
You must be under 21 then.
If not, go check on the website and reserve it. When you select 21-25 it doesn't add the fee. 8/30/2010 11:11:54 AM |

^ when you click 21-24 and go to the end of the process, it shows you what your fee is. for sfo it was 75 bucks for a week. which still is pretty good.
Either way, i should be fine being a berkely alum. 8/30/2010 11:21:45 AM |

^^ You'll be less excited when you spend $80 to fill those compacts up
I also loved the toll roads i France, taking a 250 mile journey from Lyons to Nice ran over $60 as I recall in tolls each way.

^^^ I think they will also add 16% VAT to it when you actually return the car. And ohh, most probably you will not get a Alfa Romeo.....I have never gotten one in my 3-4 times in Italy, even though the website said Alfa Romeo or similar at the time of booking...
