Has anyone heard of this? It's from the original creators of WoW and it will be totally free. It really looks like an interesting idea. Sort of like a mix of Mass Effect 2 theme and Borderland game play + co op from Source games.


Beta is going on now if you're interested in trying to get in early. The game won't launch until 2011.

Why the fuck did they go with the micro-transaction model? I'm just hoping this is so future-tech that we just don't yet understand how a micro-transaction model doesn't end up with the game being a stinking turd.

free game + microtransactions /= free game that is enjoyable

you play to be the best (or some semblance of good) meanwhile somebody plops down $10 and forever gains an advantage

either make it free for ALL or have a pay server

who cares about paying to gain an advantage, the same thing is available in Global Agenda and it has barely any effect on being "good". They are simply trying to make SOME money.

I am going to be all over this.

That town that gets attacked can be taken over by the chosen. That unlocks new missions to retake the city. Sounds awesome

It looks like console but I am not sure if it will be released on PC as well.
