Who is making the best bluetooth headsets for cell phones these days? Is Jawbone still king? Where they ever?

I've got one of those old free moto ones that was really popular back in the day. I can't see why anyone would spend substantial money on one of these things (looking at you jawbone). it sits on my ear. it has volume control. I hear people, they hear me. what else do you need?
