Have a model J99 Jagerator that I'm pretty sure needs a refrigerant recharge. Trying to find someone that does refrigerator work that could come out and juice the thing up.
Needs R134a refrigerant (100g)
Lemme know, thanks. 9/16/2010 3:18:10 PM |

Has it got any charge fittings on it at all? 9/16/2010 3:25:45 PM |

That's a good question. How do I tell?
Update: There is a threaded copper tube about 3/4" in diameter that is positioned towards the outside wall of the machine. I'm obviously no expert, but assumably the only reason for that tube's existence is for the recharging of the unit.

Also, I'm assuming that it only needs a recharge because the supply line is cool but not cold and the return line is warm but not hot. Everything else on the unit seems to be in working order, but again, I'm no pro. Figured I'd start out the diagnostics by having someone make sure there is 100g of refrigerant in it. 9/16/2010 3:38:36 PM |
