directed by Zach Snyder (wtf?)

this looks unbelievable terrible, and whoever greenlit this must have been on some powerful drugs.

Combine it with the Creed like Theme song in the trailers and this is the perfect movie for all douche bags to nut all over.

My wife loved Happy Feet and this movie is full of happy-looking owls, so I will end up seeing this.

If you go see this movie and a) don't have kids or b) aren't on a bunch of drugs you are a sucker of the highest magnitude.

Do I really need to? It's about CGI talking Owls for fucks sake. Not to mention the super cheesy and melodramatic trailer.

I can't believe anyone saw Toy Story. It's about a bunch of CGI talking toys for fucks sake. Not to mention the super cheesy and melodramatic trailer.

^^I don't remember Toy Story having a super cheesy and melodramatic trailer, and I suppose this movie could contain a depth of characterization and level of storytelling the belies it's premise but I highly fucking doubt it given the previous projects the creators worked on.

^Why was there a thread about The Room? It looks too bad for me not to make fun of it.

you think it sucks, we get it

I don't get why you have to try to call every single person out that doesn't agree with your opinion, get over yourself

I think this is actually based on a series of kids (or young adult) novels

so you can thank the Harry Potter and Twilight series for movie producers wanting to make movies out of every single book series.

I keep thinking of it as Lord of the Rings with Owls instead of Hobbits

This looks like a good movie for kids and only kids.

Toy Story was funny. Legend of the Guardians does not look at all funny.

A friend of mine put down this movie.... I reminded him of growing up watching the Secret of NIMH

The Secret of NIMH rocks, also I did not realize that Wil Wheaton and Shannen Doherty did voices in it.

This shit cost $100 million and only recouped $15 on opening weekend...does not look like the sequel will pan out. They probably should have put a little more work into the story, rather than just use the old chosen one vs. impending evil crap.

I saw it (I have an excuse! There were small children with me!). I hadn't seen a 3D film up until then, and it did look very good. Lots of slow-motion owl combat. The flying sequences were very cool. I laughed at the Nazi owl bad guys. I enjoyed it, for a kids movie.

I saw this with my gf, her brother, and her mom. It was ok. I laughed out loud unintentionally at a lot of the dialogue, such as "COME to my hollow!"
