It looks like braille doesn't translate so neatly, you might have to find someone who knows how to read braille.

r44 could be a map coordinate or something along those lines...

r44 is the model of a helicopter used by a boston helicopter tour company too.

Ha you guys are really sad if you think I had to run to xkcd to figure out that's bog-standard unicode. I've never been to those forums before, you just have to google one of the unicode encodings and that braille site comes up.

^^Sorry for the lackluster followup, the correct answer was braille and translated to r44 radioman jeeps so you were 100% correct. It was related to something pretty specific to the work challenge so didnt end up being as exciting or interesting as I had hoped. But you were spot on.
