Season Premiere wasn't too bad... I thought Bronx Beat with Katy Perry and her Elmo shirt was pretty nice

They've apparently gotten 4 new cast members. I hope they're funny.

Jay Pharoah's impersonations (Will Smith and Denzel) have been amazing.

It's kinda weird. Denzel Washington and Will Smith have been totally worth impersonating for a long time, and I haven't seen them done until now.

snl has never been in more desperate need of a black guy, kenan has some good qualities but a lot of his impressions are terrible and he has no business doing

Robert DeNiro was good. Diddy's band is going to continue going nowhere. His performances had energy but the songs themselves were completely forgettable.

I love the second hand news.

So, the girl who plays miley cirus is pretty much a one trick pony. Today is the first time I've noticed her in anything else and she sounded exactly like her miley cirus persona.

^plus her teeth are very distracting whenever she is supposed to be playing a hot chick. somebody get that lady some braces!

Jim carrey was only used well in the soul train sketch.

overall, shitty, maybe half a laugh.

last week i did love "i just ahd sex" though.

Or they could have gotten Larry King and Jenny McCarthy and then insisted that vaccines cause autism again. That was always a hilarious bit.

^ Yeah, pretty much. Gwyneth Paltrow is basically the exact opposite of funny.

That new cast member's impressions (Denzel, Jay-Z, Will Smith, KG) are scary good, though. That was the only positive I took from watching last night's episode. Even Cee-Lo's performance was eh.

^ that's pretty much all he's done all season. it's getting kind of old

and I loved the digital short, but that's coming from someone who grew up as the biggest Pee Wee's Playhouse fan in the world

^i hear you...i've only watched this season intermittently, so that was the first time i even saw that dude

i, too, was an enormous pee wee's playhouse fan as a young'n and thought that short was funny

edit: so i guess two positives

Digital short was okay. Pretty much saw exactly where it was going from the beginning, though. The chair telling dude to get the fuck off me was the funniest part of the show.
