Yeah that's our problem, my friends that are still at State didn't get tickets and the alumni who bought tickets at the beginning of the season are all out of town (Va Beach and Wilkesboro, NC)

Can someone give me a quick refresher on what happened when we actually gave out hard copy tickets (circa 2003)? Didn't SG do something shady to make sure certain people got tickets and that's why we have this online system?

Just fyi, when I walked by Reynolds a little under an hour ago, there were probably 30 people or so already in line. Better get there soon if you want to get a ticket at 4:30.

I think it was in 1999 for the NCSU-UNC basketball campout when the Delta Zeta Sorority bought almost all of the tickets as guest tickets and then proceeded to give them to family members who didn't even wear red to the game. That campout ended in everything not bolted down being thrown into the road and set on fire.

I thought part of it had to do with the FSU game ~2001. Huge line at 7:30am or so, and once the window opened, pretty much an entire sorority showed up to meet the one girl waiting, and they got a huge number of tickets while everyone waiting got screwed.

I have friends in that line that need to switch out, but the cops won't let them. I tried to call the ticking office to get someone to fix this but they cut off their phones and I'm just getting a recording. Is there anyone else to call?

We've been in line since 9 this morning and now we're not gonna be able to get tickets because the person that is stuck in line now is one of our guest people. We were gonna switch her out with a real student for the 3 o'clock shift.

sounds like they're going a smidge overkill, but if they had some sort of enforcement like this a few years back, they probably wouldn't have had all the problems that led to the crappy lottery system in the first place.

as long as they ticketers distribute the right number of tickets to each student with IDs based on their policy, i don't see why they wouldn't let you swap out with a person who's been standing there for hours. just use a one in, one out system
