Anyone watch AMA superbike/daytona, world superbike, american le mans? This is my first post in sports talk but a search brings up nothing. Just interested to know if anyone likes the motorsports. I'm a fan of baja and to a lesser degree F1 and WRC

I'm bored by all motorsports.

At first you might think F1 is more exciting because they turn right sometimes, but no, it just means they don't pass as much.

ill watch just about every form of motorsports, but not anything where the cars are open wheeled and made of carbon fiber. they complain to much.

ill be more than happy to sit down and watch a wrc trial, ama, and anything else on wheels

I watch Nascar, Indycar, Grand Am, ALMS and F1 sometimes (I can't wait until they allow molded underbodies).

so we got a few fans. are there ANY sports bars that show this kinda thing? it'd be nice to go some place with other people and talk about such motorsports. for instance, the pit strategy at petit le mans yesterday was amazing, especially watching the muscle milk prototype try to run 10 hours with a misfire or the jag just blow up.

no idea. I don't really follow F1, especially without refueling this year. seemed boring, though I'm sure the engineering off the track was pretty interesting. daytona sportbike and superbike were my big followings this year

I watched the first 5 F1 races this year but then I just fell behind in watching them...and then lost interest.

f1 isn't over yet. could be any of 4 (but really any of the top 3) going into the last race in abu dhabi this weekend.

red bull won the constructor's championship

alonso is in the lead with vettel and webber just behind and hamilton still mathematically in the hunt.

I like watching World of Outlaws Sprint Car when it is on the ODC. I also enjoy the Stoney Roberts Demolition Derby at the NC State Fair.

racing anything on a dirt oval is cool. i also like nascar, ama motocross/supercross. the problem with f1 is the races are decided on qualifying day, too hard to pass

I also really enjoy rallycross, but it's hard to catch on TV. Watched a ton of it when I studied in Ireland, though. I did watch what they had on the X-Games, though. They actually had a course set up that included the arches and bleachers at the LA Coliseum as part of the course.

Oh yeah, and if you are into Indycar at all, Baltimore is hosting a street circuit race next August.
