WAT? I'm 100% sure they know who JJ Hickson is. Howell, Brown and Harrow are all from the suburbs of ATL (which is where Hickson grew up), and played for the same AAU team. Also I guarantee that Hickson getting drafted in the first round was a major selling point for landing Leslie

I shouldn't be but I'm so meh about JJ Hickson it's not even funny. Unlike Rivers and Hodge, I just don't really care how he does.

Maybe for sophomores, but the current crop of freshmen were something like sophomores or juniors in high school when he was here.

I'm not saying that you don't know who plays for us simply because you're not going to the school, but the odds are heavily against it. If they all do know who he is, then awesome...no one will be like "who the fuck is #33??" when I wear the jersey.

Kudos to the returning guys for getting in great shape to be able to run the floor. Tracy Smith couldn't have kept up with this pace 2 years ago. Howell looks in great shape as well, but doesn't look as comfortable running the floor. Early on I expect him in the game a lot with Javi. Scott Wood will do well to have a knack for spotting up from range before the defense finds him, which he did a couple times against Pfeiffer. CJ Williams looks particularly happy in the uptempo, and I hope he stays aggressive and willing to attack the basket when it is there. Painter has obviously spent some time in the weight room.

I always laugh at this pic, because it makes them (mostly CJL) look like 5 year olds.



Also, I have to work both this game, and the F-D game later this month . Hopefully there will at least be a lot of people in the suites this season.

My fault , it is a Hickson jersey, but it's been at my parent's house in high point for about a year and a half now. I remember the first game I wore it in the student section, part of his family was a couple rows in front of us and turned around to ask where I'd found one (I think Addams bookstore was the first store to carry his number for whatever reason).

Anyhow, I was too lazy to check and remember what his number was before posting...flame away.
