Anyone have something close? I think mine might've overheated... . Fans stopped turning. 11/14/2010 11:04:35 PM |

I can get a new unit for less than 50. How do you know it's just the fans and not some logic board that controls the fans? Is that what usually happens?
The compute boots up fine, but it's getting really hot, so I'm not using it at the moment. 11/14/2010 11:40:58 PM |

You're not going to get a new unit that isn't shit for less than 50 bucks. But I wouldn't consider using a unit that has the fan replaced. 11/15/2010 1:22:10 AM |

i have "psu" and "power supply" set up as deal alerts on SD...if the number of emails i'm getting are any indication, there are boatloads of name-brand 80 plus bronze units for $50 or less
i picked this up for $40 AR recently: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207007

I just got that one about a week ago for a different computer I'm working on. Won't be able to send the rebate in a second time though! Bummer. 11/15/2010 10:17:38 AM |
