Nucynta(Tapentadol) before?

I was prescribed it and it's a Class 2 drug but it's way expensive for people with no insurance. Apparently it works like Percocet but yet it's very different. Idk why the doctor would prescribe it knowing I have no insurance and Percocet is way cheaper..

Experiences?

I have $36 in my bank account and for the small amount he wrote it me it's $30...trying to see if it's worth it.

doctor didn't tell me it was expensive until i called pharm to check it out.

this is at the ER so they don't give samples or give a fuck in general.

i'm going to go get a few and take some. if i'm back online afterwards all fucked up-BE PREPARED.

It shouldn't be the doctor's prerogative to tell you if you don't ask; the doctor's job is to prescribe the best course of treatment for you, subject to any questions or concerns you may have. But you've got to voice those concerns and ask the questions first.
