How hard would it be to take on the project myself, and where would be the best place to get instructions?

would you buy a radiator from AutoZone? They're charging about 130 with a lifetime warranty.

Get it. That's not a bad price, and I doubt you can beat it anywhere.

As far as doing it yourself, I never consider radiators to be very hard, but then I've done lots and lots of them over the years. With the following that the Legend has, I think it would be pretty easy to find a step by step tutorial on how to do it. I have to admit that it's been over 10 years since I've touched a Legend, so I won't be a huge amount of help.

Actual radiator hold downs are easy; I'm pretty sure there are only two clips at the top, and then it pops out. But I can't for the life of me remember how the shrouding goes. You'll have to take the radiator fans off, drain the coolant, and disconnect the transmission cooler lines unless you have a stick.

Try code LC123 on advance auto online. If that doesnt work google coupon cOdes. Advance usually has a few floating around. Do online and pick up instore. That's your best bet.

there's a fair chance that getting the hoses off could turn into a pain.

if you haven't planned on replacing them you may want to factor that in. I ended up cutting one of mine off the last time i did this.
