Yeah, I'm serious.

It's kind of weird. It was a normal haunt for me, and I talk to Sylvia all the time. He never even mentioned it.

Ugh, I'll never get a good replacement for this.

BubbleBobble used his powerful network of friends to foreclose Sylvia's so I <3 NY Pizza would run unopposed.

chairs were too close together even without people in 'em

that building was poorly planned even when it was put up

also, the motherfucker was super touchy about the parking spaces directly behind the building

it was a bitch not being able to park next to the ramp and do load-in for gigs at the record exchange

in short, fuck sylvia's

does this mean you can park in the "sylvia customers only" spots without getting towed

Damn, this was the best pizza around, and I'd always talk to him also.

Dude remembered me when I came back to campus and ate there after about a year and a half.

NY Pizza is so awful.

Amores is also good, and I like that they have beer, but Sylvia's pizza is better IMO.

NY pizza is the worst by far.

Amore's is good, but there was that seemingly 2 year stretch where it was always "just about to re-open".

It's no wonder people took delight elsewhere.

Well, that sucks. Although, I live less than a block from Sylvia's, and they were never fucking open when I was around, so I would resort to I <3 NY. Amores is much better than both, though.

I was definitely an Amore man during my tenure at state. I stepped out on Amores a few times to try something new with I<3NY and Sylvia's but my desires were always left wanting.

I miss you amore, i wish we could still be together.

I haven't been there in years, but that's hella depressing nonetheless. <3 Sylvia's.
Maybe that's because my family's vegetarian.

^^ yes, i see. you waste it on pre-processed McMexican food.

seriously, just go move out to a Cary subdivision and do all your shopping at the mall. There's an Applebee's there just for people like you.

hey, I'd rather something local and good could open in its place. but given the track record of restaurants on Hillsborough St., we'd end up with another fucking cereal shop.

Agreed, leave the chains in Cary.

Also, that's Amore is definitely better than Franks.

would you consider melvin's "local" or "chain"

and that being said, I think they need to just make one huuuuuuuuuuge vegas style buffet line. that would be awesome.

He seemed nice but I never loved the pizza. Amores is actually really good IMO for the price -- I did like Franks to but not enough to justify the price/drive.
