Obviously all our remaining non conference games are must wins, so getting the W is all that matters.

But to prepare for the ACC schedule I really hope to see Howell make strides because we need him playing 25 minutes or so come ACC play. Painter can't handle big minutes yet and vandenburg needs to be more spot duty than backup minutes.

Also javi and harrow need to get it together, we need consistent steady play out of those two

So you want to see Howell get moved to center in spite of the fact that he gets backed down by even average college centers and has a 3 inch verticle? I could see it leading to better scoring on one end but we would be exploited terribly. Also we would have NO ONE to back up CJ Leslie at PF.

I'm not sure what all that meant but our best defensive lineup last year during acc play was when howell and smith played together so that's what I'd like to see again obviously.

Tracy Smith was playing Center. Howell is a PF and shouldn't be put at Center for a variety of reasons.

^x5 poor guy - 10-6 ACC record last year and still went to the NIT.

Coming out of our pre-ACC play with a 6-4 records doesn't help our NCAA chances at all. Granted what we did was without Tracy. I think if we come back strong during the ACC season, get 10 wins, show that those close losses (all were pretty close exception Wisconsin imo - aka I'm using close to say we were in the game and had a chance) could have been a result of both not having Tracy and relying on 3 young guys for a lot of participation, then I think we have a shot at going to the NCAA tourney. I would set the line at the in vs. on the bubble at 10.5 ACC regular season wins.

I wish people would stop saying the Georgetown game was close, because it wasn't...the Syracuse game was close, Arizona game debatable, but not Georgetown. We were out of it like 5 minutes into the second half.
