^ I don't think it's wild carrot, though it might be. It's called "sakuna" in Okinawa but I can't find any real information on it other than some pharmaceutical studies
Oh hah, one of the links finally had the scientific name for it: Peucedanum japonicum

Naw, it tastes good in stir fries and salads. I'm hoping to find the common name for it so I can find out where to buy it and eat it 1/6/2011 5:45:16 PM |

The leaves. I guess you could eat the flower too but I've only ever had the leaves.1/7/2011 9:33:49 AM |

^^ Naw, not dogwood. The flowers are smaller and bunched similar to cherry blossoms.

Yes!! The first few days Bradford Pears have a mucous (jizz) type smell. Then it progresses into rotting fish/ass/disgustingness. 3/7/2011 9:25:24 PM |

They're pretty but I hope my neighborhood doesn't start to smell like jizz 3/8/2011 9:42:02 AM |

It's kind of like a cross between mustard greens and arugula if that makes sense. 3/10/2011 8:50:43 AM |
