My favorite aaronburro moment is when I stated what the law was in a thread (something about civil rights act), and then he argued with me about it over multiple posts like as if it was my opinion. I can see why you'd think that based on the internetz because he doesn't allow any leeway for "average" people, but you really think he's going around to people he knows and telling them how unevolved and barbaric they are for holding mainstream views?

I think he correctly identifies that human intelligence (in a very broad sense of the word) follows a normal distribution, and he just doesn't defer to people below +1 standard deviation, and expects more from the people above it. And online, he doesn't have to. He can argue vigorously for an ideal if that's what he wants to do.
