I get the worst list. But the science in some of the Best list seems suspect, everything from faster than light travel to planet-wide energy dampening fields.

they pretty much seemed to stick to classics or blockbusters.

i'm actually surprised they skipped over 2001.

when it was made, though, the effects were ground breaking... it is like the fart scene in blazing saddles- there was no "fart" humor like that before that movie, so some guys sitting around a fire farting for 2 minutes was ground breaking and hilarious- at the time. By our standards today, both of those things are old and played out

I must say, the end of 2001 confused the ever-living fuck out of me.

Perhaps this was because I was watching it at something like 4 AM after a long day of work and classes. And possibly several drinks as well.

i remember watching 2001 as a kid... we had a VHS taped off of the tv... i wish I still had it because there were some awesome early 80's commercials on it.
