We've got a fueling area in our truck yard and currently only a few people have a key to the pumps. We've got an IP camera pointing at the pump and I would like to setup a relay switch so that the pump can be controlled from in the building. Can anyone point me in the right direction to get started?

Contact an electrician. What you want to do may not be legal.

I would recommend using a remote controlled circuit breaker similar to the one here http://magnetic-circuit-breakers.carlingtech.com/circuit-breaker__86.asp. Just need to run a 12V signal -- switch in your office or whatever, to the breaker box and you're good.

What you are asking for is at pretty much every gas station -- the big red "pump cutoff" button on the side of the wall.

^^ How is it not legal? As long as he gets permits for it if needed.

^ Second this.

QQ as an aside, are you trying to eliminate the key need or have more security on the pumps? If its the latter, you having serious issues with people stealing/helping friends out?
