Was recently looking to get back into playing soccer on the weekends as was wondering if anybody here played in any pickup games at/around NC State campus.

Sorry if this is the wrong section, I considered putting it in sports but the topics there didn't really seem about recreational play at all.

The best place to go would probably be the IM fields at State any afternoon. There are always a bunch of people up there pretty much any day of the week.

Also, check out this topic message_topic.aspx?topic=598810. There are some mentions from guys in there about where they play pickup. You could also PM Big4Country. I know he plays pickup a lot as well around here and he could probably help you out more than I can.

All over the place. I haven't played with them in a month or so (too much stuff going on at home) but usually it's about 1/3 skilled and fit, 1/3 skilled and not fit, 1/3 other.
