Watched the first 2 episodes. Pretty hilarious. It's essentially an American show making fun of Americans who take good British shows and remake them.

Looks like an American remake of Extras.

It's pretty terrible...the last episode was just a dick joke repeated ad nauseam. The Hollywood satire is particularly lazy and unfunny in this as well, and some of the performances (specifically John Pankow) are maddeningly awful. You know a show is bad when Matt LeBlanc is the best part of it.

Showtime should just focus on Weeds and Dexter and stop trying to be like HBO

Eh Weeds is too drawn out and while I like Dexter it seems to be wrapping up too. I enjoyed the first couple episodes of this. They weren't outstanding or anything but they made me laugh.

This is easily one of the worst shows on television. Probably the worst show Showtime's ever done. Even worse than Nurse Jackie. As Sepinwall put it, the main characters need to be either likable or attractive. The two brits are very far away from both. Absolutely horrible all around.

You must have a pretty low standard for what you consider brilliant, I mean the 3rd episode was centered entirely around the premise that Matt LeBlanc is well-endowed, that's not funny or inventive or clever in any regard it's just fucking lame (and probably a concession that was made to get him to do the show in the first place). The 4th episode was better if only because the studio exec was completely absent, but it was a long fucking way from brilliant.

it's pretty lame how many movies and tv shows have ripped off the Kristen Wiig character from Knocked Up, this one included (the girl in charge of "comedy" or whatever)

I didn't think this show could get any worse, but I was wrong.
