I'm not a car guy by any means so please help me out. I've got some corrosion on my battery in my Civic and I read that you can use baking soda mixed with water then just hose the battery off. Is it that simple? I assume the battery can get water on the outside and on the terminals?

they're cheap at auto zone or any parts store

baking soda worked at getting the "cloud" off....i'll grab a brush soon to get the acid out of the "hard to reach" places

Thanks!

You can also just poor regular coca cola on it and then rinse with water.
