Could I hook up a high dollar video camera (Handycam HVR-HD1000U) to a computer and use it to stream a Ustream video? What cables or equipment would I need?

So i need a 4 pin firewire. That's cool.

Just get a 1080p webcam. USB is going to be a lot easier to deal with than FireWire. And cheaper.

Not sure about Windows, but OS X apps generally can use firewire video as camera sources.2/6/2011 2:50:12 PM |

the device has a 4 pin firewire connection. you can use whatever a normal fw port on your comp. It may even come with the cable. 2/6/2011 3:34:29 PM |
