Those of us who knew him best talk about him often. I swear, the stuff he pulled... Sometimes it makes me sad, though, hook being gone. I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright and when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up does rejoice, but still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone.

I guess I just miss my friend.

I would like to know what happened to him. Since he got himself fired from a TA job because he couldn't control his e-rage, I'm worried he might have slipped so far as to possibly be in prison now or something. He's probably just on a break. He does that at round numbers. At 15k posts, I believe it was, he took a huge break. And he's at 16500 now which fits the pattern. Its probably a healthy thing too for most everyone to chill out from tdub from time to time.

I guess you don't know hooksaw IRL. It's a pretty sad story, he got really depressed when Obama won, and after he got the healthcare thing passed, it was too much for him to handle and he shot himself. The bullet didn't kill him, but he has been in a coma for quite a while, I'm sure he'd love to see some support from you guys, even if you didn't agree on everything.

I think everyone in the soapbox is one cynical meltdown away from changing the world or perforating their brain. I took a break for a month and look how happy I am. I can't wait until he comes back, the results might be surprising.
