I think everyone should subscribe to Monitoring Times
http://monitoringtimes.com/
Of course because I shared some local info in this months issue
A pic of the article for the one or two radio geeks around:

Also subscribe to RadioResource Industry mag:

A few I.T. related mags and Sporting News & SI.

Oh and Juggs (for the articles)

I'm surprised you'd say that. Seems a bit counter to your politics.

I used to subscribe to 2600

its an interesting read

and the fun thing about quarterlies is that you forget you subscribed and then BLAM! surprise reading

(the other quarterly I used to enjoy was The Wilson Quarterly)

This is the list of what I am currently subscribed to:
-------------------------------------------------------------
Time (absolute rag of a magazine)
Wired (decently entertaining for 5 minutes at a time)
Transmission and Distribution
Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M)
Public Utilities Fortnightly
Renewable Energy World
Cogeneration
Wind Technology
Solar Today
Muscular Development

I would drop Time magazine, but I want to keep the rest of them.

The Economist is far and beyond the best news weekly in print. Easily one of my favorite things in the world. Also the only print I subscribe to. Who has time for more than that? I don't know how people have time to even scratch WSJ or FT in the morning...maybe if I still had an hour train commute.

PS For those of you who love The Economist...their iOS app is top notch.

Car & Driver.

I've actually unsubscribed like 4 times, but they keep sending them to me even though I haven't paid in like 3 years.

EDIT: Oh this says want to. Nevermind. I didn't read the thread title correctly apparently.

Ya, for the most part. I still like calling out folks for wasting hundreds of dollars on shitty and pretentious publications when not being fully employed.

None. The half dozen or so I get rarely get read and end up being clutter.

Vanity Fair is the only consistent read.
