Blew out his knee and had to have surgery.

$900 worth, to be exact.

my australian shepherd mix was born with a piece of the elbow joint/bone not as thick as it was supposed to be & had to have surgery to have the piece removed so it didn't break off...to the tune of $1400

It looks like one of those things that people put around their neck when sleeping on airplanes.

When I look at that first pic I think:

Cause life's a bitch and then you die
That's why we get high
'cause you never know when you're gonna go.

Poor puppy

When I got my cats fixed the vet didn't suggest a cone or anything. I think he just expected them to be super drugged up until the stitches dissolved

^^ my vet said he probably wouldn't need a cone, but yesterday while he was still at the vet he chewed out 2 of his stitches. so the vet said I better get him one.

Well it appears I will have to get him a bigger "cone". He chewed out 2 of his stitches last night so I had to take him back to the vet this morning.

Keeps them from licking/chewing wounds. It basically makes it impossible for them to reach their lower half. That is, if I get the right damn size.

I think the dog blew out it's knee, and had to have surgery.

I'd estimate the surgery to be around $900

Well I just went and bought him a bigger "cone". That puts my grand total over $1k so far.

I think I need to train him to bring me beer

Well, so much for "New School". The biggest one they had wasn't keeping him from reaching the stitches, so I had to go with "The Cone of Shame"
