Anyone else catch this? some story elements are different from all the Merlin versions I've watched...

it may turn out to be decent if that guy from Flashforward can act. All he did in Flashforward was talk in a low raspy voice to make everything seem dramatic.

what i took away from the sneak peek:

*Authur is going to have to become significantly less annoying pretty fast

*Morgan was cast very well

*Merlin... not sure on that yet

*it's gonna be weird watching this and BBC's Merlin at the same time

*naked blonde near the beginning had some awesome boobs

I completely forgot about the 3rd season of Merlin. I think I stopped at the end of season 2. I love when I miss an entire season and get to catch up!

just watched the episode...it was okay, i guess

it's a different enough take on the familiar story that i will likely remain entertained, though honestly, were it a choice between a new merlin episode or a new camelot one, i'd choose merlin without hesitation

also, i'm sure this makes me gay, but i'm not at all disappointed by the lesser amount of TNA compared to spartacus...i don't know, gratuitous boobage is great and all, but sometimes i'm in the mood for some entertainment that doesn't rely so heavily on sex to keep me interested

arthur is annoying and i agree with others that they need to make him likable with a quickness

i've always like james purefoy (king lot)

looking forward to more tamsin egerton (guinevere, naked girl he's boinking on the beach in his dream, i believe)

also, i ♥ claire forlani (queen igraine)

i haven't seen the third episode, yet, but i still feel like the series is cheap somehow...camelot's courtyard holds something like 150 people, which is not quite the resplendent grandeur i envision when camelot is mentioned

spartacus was a bit heavy on the special effects, but it felt more real than this does

At first glance at the preview I thought the lead was Jonathan Rhys Meyers...I guess I just got so used to him playing a British King.

When I found out it wasn't him, I became a little less interested in seeing this show. When I found out who it really was, I lost all interest.

^^ yeah, i actually think this last episode was one of the better ones...i still don't have any trouble letting it play in the background while i do other things, though

^ i've learned not to say things aren't possible, but there were some pretty close shots where her face and boobs were in frame, especially at the end when she (well, morgan) and merlin were boinking
