basically for a brake bracket
apparently it is hard to find after going to all sorts of parts traders. The bolt to my brake fell out so the damn caliper is sittin up high of the center of the rotor, scraping my rim and preventing me from going in reverse 3/2/2011 9:35:09 PM |

Go to McMaster-Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com).
Type in 96144A293 in the search field.
It should be the only bolt that pops up.
The bolt is a M12-1.25x30mm bolt. Yes, I know it is 5 mm to long. If you're able to shave 5 mm off, I don't see why this wouldn't work, or just have 5 mm stick out. 3/2/2011 10:36:15 PM |

im saying from experience because i've bought this exact bolt there. actually it was lowes now that i think of it. i forget the name but there's a place that only sells fasteners off hodges, near atlantic. they will no doubt have it in grade 12 which is more suitable for auto stuff 3/3/2011 9:47:34 AM |

I had the exact same problem and finally just went to LKQ. After looking for a few minutes, I happened to find one on the ground near another Blazer that had the front end gutted. Guy gave it to me for free, problem solved. 3/3/2011 12:30:02 PM |

For future reference Fastener Supply Co. in south raleigh off 401 has an insane amount of hardware in stock at that warehouse center. They can get just as much stuff as Fastenal but much cheaper and always a ton more inventory at the store for those oh-shit same-day scenarios. 3/4/2011 7:56:54 PM |
