I remember a problem with them and AN fittings. Something like they have the SAE ones and not the metric ones or something strange like that. 47* mating surfaces versus some other degree mating surface. I had to go to CROSS fittings near the mens club to get my AN lines made. 3/8/2011 10:00:34 AM |

AN and JIC are 37 degree flares...and theoretically, the two are interchangeable, though AN is a more exacting specification. They are NOT compatible with SAE 45 deg. flares.
Just about any industrial hydraulic line shop can make JIC fitted lines. I used to make lines when I worked with two different auto parts shops. 3/8/2011 10:12:56 AM |
