I'm going to put some of them on my Wii and, I'm not even familiar with the Atari 7800 but I know there's an emulator for that, 2600, and Colecovision and Intellivision
I remember for Atari 2600
Asteroids was the shit, E.T. was lame but it was still kinda fun to walk around and make noise, umm so what else? like Pole Position, stuff like that
Colecovision I didn't really ever get into, but I actually own one
did any of you ever have one, and if so what were your favorite games?
same for Intellivision and Atari 7800 3/17/2011 11:02:14 PM |

already added Joust and Pole Position to the mix
I think I'll just go with what I have now and add more as I see fit
since I probably won't play them much anyway 3/17/2011 11:23:05 PM |

Smurfs was good indeed. Also, Hide & Seek (if you had someone else) and Haunted House. And of course, Pole Position. I'll add Pitfall to the mix. 3/18/2011 1:58:46 AM |

I had an Intellivision back in the day and played these non-stop:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Hawk Swords & Serpents (the one for Intellivision, not NES) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BI0OV8VlUU startig at 3:43. Spent a lot of time trying to beat this game. I drew maps and everything. I got as far as seeing the final screen, but the "boss" was walled off from where I was. I found out last year that the game couldn't be beat, there was no entry point to get to the boss. Made me all those years later.
I also had Maze-A-Tron, wouldn't recommend it. Space Battle, I liked that one as well, but you just about have to have the plastic controller insert to know the controls.
\/ Oh yeah. I remember involuntarily moving the tethered controller in time with the character when he swung over the pits/obstacles. Good times.

Someone mentioned Hide & Seek, which is actually called Sneak & Peek, and is amazing.
Combat is pretty dope too. It's a tank game. Awesome.
Missile Command, Defender, Space Invaders and Superman were also great. 3/18/2011 10:35:32 AM |

If you can get some paddle controllers, try Circus Atari.
But never, ever play The Empire Strikes Back. 3/18/2011 4:37:33 PM |
